Does my medical insurance cover an anti-aging treatment at the Amsterdam Kliniek?

It all depends on your insurance company. In any case you will need an supplementary package, because basic insurance per definition is not enough. Some insurance companies will provide partial coverage, unfortunately the days when everything got reimbursed are definitely over. Dr. Boeken is a member of the Artsenvereniging voor Integrale Geneeskunde (AVIG) and the Maatschappij ter Bevordering van de Orthomoleculaire Geneeskunde (MBOG). You may want to mention this when inquiring with your insurance company, since membership with the AVIG and/or MBOG may make reimbursement more likely.

Why anti-aging? Why would I want to do anything else but just live my life?

You don’t need to do anything extra if you don’t want to. We figure that, since you only have one life to live and if there are ways of improving the quality and length of that life, why not do so.

I have a problem with vaginal dryness – my sex life has come close to a stand-still. Can bioidentical hormones be of any help?

Absolutely. By applying a bioidentical hormone gel to the inside of the arms, the hormone will be absorbed by the blood vessels of the skin and restore the mucous membranes of the vagina. Pain and irritation during sexual intercourse can completely disappear.

We eat healthy, exercise regularly and live relatively normal and active lives. What do you offer that could improve on this?

We can improve your condition through a tailor-made diet plan and advise you on the proper use of food supplements which stimulate the immune system, slow down hardening of the arteries and remove damaging toxic metals. If necessary we can replenish certain hormone deficiencies through bio-identical hormones.
