It all depends on your insurance company. In any case you will need an supplementary package, because basic insurance per definition is not enough. Some insurance companies will provide partial coverage, unfortunately the days when everything got reimbursed are definitely over. You may want to mention this when inquiring with your insurance company, since membership with the AVIG and/or MBOG may make reimbursement more likely.

In principle, it becomes a lifelong commitment. It is no real problem to stop using them at any point in time, however, hormone levels will gradually return to their original values, possibly bringing on the same complaints that existed before the treatment.

Through blood and urine analysis numerous essential hormones can be measured. Based on these findings, a treatment plan to supplement the identified low levels is developed.

Usually it takes 3-6 months before hormones are balanced. Depending on the hormones supplemented, individual responses differ.
